SVA Faculty Book Club: The New Jim Crow, chapters 1-3 Online

Every two weeks, a faculty-only book and film group meets to engage in an energetic dialogue on critical teaching issues such as race and culture. All the titles will be available for free from the SVA Library.

Thursday, August 6th, 4:30-5:30, we will discuss chapters 1-3 of the book The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander. The second half of the book will be discussed on September 3rd.
