Every two weeks, a faculty-only book and film group meets to engage in an energetic dialogue on critical teaching issues such as race and culture. All the titles will be available for free from the SVA Library.
Thursday, September 3rd, 4:30-5:30, we will discuss chapters 4-6 of the book The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness by Michelle Alexander. The first half of the book was discussed on August 6th.
